Building Community Through Design
HYLO, formerly known as Studio HLC, was founded in 2024 as a Chicago-based architecture and design practice committed to thoughtful, technically grounded work. The studio has developed experience across restaurants, residential porch renovations, permitting services, and focused design studies—supporting projects from early concept through approval and construction. HYLO integrates advanced tools such as high-precision 3D scanning and digital twin documentation to accurately capture existing conditions and inform smarter, more coordinated decisions. By combining design sensibility with technical rigor, the studio streamlines complex processes, reduces uncertainty, and delivers clear, buildable solutions tailored to Chicago’s urban fabric.
